Byron Stahly, P.E., President
Mr. Stahly oversees a staff
of more than 30 professionals whose expertise includes
transportation planning and design, water and wastewater
systems design, site civil engineering, land development,
and structural engineering.
Byron is a “hands on”
manager with 17 years of experience as an engineer. In
addition to his administrative duties and quality
assurance/quality control oversight of staff projects he
also manages projects of his own in the fields of
transportation, land planning and development, and
structural engineering. His clients include the Montana
Department of Transportation, Cities and Counties
throughout Montana, Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, and many
private developers. Most recent transportation projects
managed by him include a segment on the Highway 93 design
corridor, Medicine Tree – Vicinity Red Horn Road, the
Marysville Road Reconstruction Project, and RID roadway
improvement projects for Lewis and Clark County. He also
recently managed upgrades to Fish, Wildlife, and Parks’
Causeway Fishing Access, and assisted the Lewis and Clark
County Fair Commission in planning for an upgrade to the
Fairgrounds.

Jeff Larson, P.E., Vice
President
Mr. Larson’s 17 years of
experience includes all elements of transportation,
wastewater and water, and site development engineering.
His experience encompasses complete project management
from planning and design to construction administration.
Strong computer skills, an excellent understanding of
design engineering, and a firm knowledge of construction
techniques and practices compliment Jeff’s education and
experience. Mr. Larson is an experienced project manager
and has successfully managed projects with budgets
exceeding six million dollars. His abilities allow him to
efficiently provide our clients with accurate and cost
effective engineering services that are consistently on
schedule and within budget.

Greg Benjamin, P.E.,
Principal
Bozeman, Montana Office Manager
Greg Benjamin has been
practicing engineering in Montana for over 12 years. He is
experienced in project funding, design and management. He
has extensive structural design experience with
residential and commercial buildings and bridges. Greg has
assisted Montana communities in producing several Treasure
State Endowment (TSEP) grants and is familiar with working
on bridge projects that are funded by TSEP. In the 2005
grant funding cycle, he sat on the TSEP Review Committee
for evaluating the technical engineering aspects of grant
applications submitted to TSEP for funding bridge
construction projects.
Mr. Benjamin’s structural
experience also includes bridge engineering for MDT. Both,
as an employee of the department and more recently as a
consulting engineer, he has assisted in the design of
several bridges within the state’s highway system.
Additionally, Greg has managed several trail projects that
were funded by MDT’s Community Transportation Enhancement
System. He has developed a reputation for professionally
managing projects that are on schedule and budget. He
works well with regulatory agencies and private and public
clients.
As manager of the Bozeman
office of Stahly Engineering & Associates, Greg oversees
all projects that are produced out of that office
including land development and water and wastewater
projects. The office has grown considerably over the last
several years and Greg can be attributed with increasing
the personnel available to our clients as well as the
profitability of the office.

Dan Stahly, P.L.S.,
Principal
Dan Stahly has worked in
the field of Land Survey for over 15 years, achieving his
Professional Land Surveyor registration in 2004. He serves
as a principal of Stahly Engineering with his focus
primarily on land surveying and mapping for the Bozeman
office. Dan has extensive experience in using AutoCAD and
Autodesk software and is proficient at performing topographic, boundary and site
surveys. His project experience includes oversight of
survey tasks for major projects brought to the firm by
both private and public clients. He provides detail design
of site development and transportation projects that
include the Moonlight Basin Ranches and several CTEP
funded trail projects for communities throughout Montana.
Dan’s clients appreciate the positive working
relationships he develops between them and the regulatory
agencies that review his work.

Associates, Inc. and can be credited with the firm’s
substantial growth over the years serving as project

dollars worth of engineering projects. His 43 years of
engineering experience includes all phases from funding,
survey, planning and design to construction inspection and
staking. |
