Stahly Engineering managed the expansion of the Winifred water distribution system within the town. The expansion included approximately 600 feet of new water main with hydrants and valves. Stahly Engineering’s team provided engineering design, permitting, served as a liaison for the Town through a deviation request submitted to DEQ (approved), and was on site to provide inspection during construction. Due to the low pressure at the project site, the deviation with DEQ was required in order to install the water main.

The improvements included connection to the supply line at the South end of town, a new supply line to the new water tank, and connection to the existing distribution system. After this project Kurt Thomson, the project manager, toured the town with the Mayor and Larry Arthur to get a better understanding of the current water system, as well as the desire of the Town to increase storage, flow, and pressure.
