Seeley Building

Stahly Engineering was the structural engineer for this four-story multi-use building consisting of 15,800 sq. ft of basement parking, 31,600 sq. ft of commercial space, and 15,800 sq. ft of residential space. Located on Last Chance Gulch, this building brings additional commerce and activity to an already thriving district of Helena. The gravity system chosen for the project consisted of heavy glulam framing supporting premanufactured I-joists for upper floors and composite steel deck framing over the garage. The lateral system utilized for the project consisted of special moment frames to maintain openness throughout the building.
